Avoid the Zetas attention!
1. Language - Swearing is ok to a certain extent. If your swearing like a sailor in your post you will be asked to modify it or it will be deleted.
2. Sexual content - again to a certain extent. Flirting will be overlooked but there will be no cybering what so ever. If there is more then a kiss in your post you will be asked to modify and told to read the rules and post confirming you have read them.
3. Posts - We ask that you make your posts at least 4 lines long. It's not very difficult and we're aware that some people just dont have very much to post at times but want a thread to continue.
4. Battles - Respect your fellow players. When it comes to combat think logically. (If you just got a mouthful of lead, maybe you should consider how your Mek would be holding up)
There will be no god moding and no pilot will be landing multiple attacks without taking some return fire. (unless of course one has a sniper and a quick Mek against a slow Mek with two swords and no SP then that will be understandable) The players are being trusted to fight fair, and ultimately throw the fight at some point.(after putting up a fight of course).
5. Losing - If a player "loses" a fight they have supposedly ejected and are picked up and brought back to the nearest town. So they are encouraged to rp in that town after the fight.
In theory you then must take your blueprints to the workshop in town to have your Mek rebuilt. Though that can but does not have to be roleplayed.
(Sparing your enemy/Surrendering will not mean you were sent back to the nearest town, you will have the option to continue on to wherever you wish granted your suit was left functional by your opponent. Just keep in mind your suits condition, there will most likely be no means of repairs outside of a town.)
Also if you feel that neither your or your opponent can decide on a victor, you can always call for other members to come and judge the fights progress and help decide on a winner. If the uncertainty continues with the outside input, then a moderator or admin who is not apart of the fight can come and give the final word after giving the entire fight a fair reading.
6. Murder - If you plan to kill a pilot at any point, you must pm that user beforehand and both of you need to include their confirmation in your next posts.
7. Teams - Teams can be formed and composed of 2-6 people. If a user wants to make one simply post in the Teams board with a completed form. Members can join later and be added to the rosters. Like any other application, Teams must be approved by a staff member for their rosters to become official.
8. Non-Pilot Characters - Know that not everyone needs to have a mek/mecha. But also be aware that only certain areas would be bearable inside of a suit. Thus you will not be able to go there without one.
9. Pickin' Fights - Just because an area says "RP-Mek Only" or "RP-Mek" does not mean you have to engage every other Mek there in combat. Bear in mind it is possible and not frowned upon, this plays into the respect rule. Not many players will play with bullies for long.
